HTML の remove ボタン型は、
直近の祖先たる反復ブロックを削除します。

利用者エージェントは、
ボタンが反復ブロック内にない場合、
disabled DOM属性に関わらず、
そのボタンを自動的に無効化しなければなりません。
(disabled DOM属性には影響しません。)

input 要素で使われる場合、
value 属性が与えられていれば、
(スタイル・シートで上書きされていない限り)
その値をボタンの見出しとしなければなりません。
value 属性が与えられていなければ、
ロケール依存の既定の名札を使用するべきです。

利用者エージェントは、 >>4 の代わりに、使用している環境における同等の機能と整合するようにボタンをレンダリングして構いません。 ですから、著者は、反復ブロックを入れ子にする場合、 ボタンがどの反復ブロックに適用されるのかが明確になるように注意して配置するべきです。 WF2 3.3

ボタンを呼び出しすると、
click などの事象が通常通り生成されます。

活性化された時の既定動作は、
直近の祖先たる反復ブロック (あれば) の削除です
(removeRepetitionBlock)。
