[5] Windows-1254 は ISO/IEC 8859-9 の CR に独自の文字を割り当てたもので、 Windows-1252 を ISO/IEC 8859-9 に同期したものともいえます。独自文字への置き換えのため厳密には Windows-1254 と ISO/IEC 8859-9 は互換性がありません。文字置き換えのため Windows-1254 と Windows-1252 も互換性がありません。
