[6] ただ、 WHATWG の成果物に W3C がただ乗りしているとの批判の影響で、 W3C 側の担当者が独自研究を WHATWG 側に報告する事例が少数見られるようになりました。 今後の動向が注目されます。

Per the MOU of W3C and WHATWG, W3C and WHATWG will work together on HTML and DOM in the WHATWG repositories, to produce a Living Standard and W3C Recommendations. This repository has been archived for historical purposes and is no longer maitained.

[54] 当時の W3C がどれだけ業界に混乱を招く迷惑行為を行っていたのか、 当時の W3C HTML と当時の HTML Standard を見比べるのが一番なのでしょうけれども、 前者はリダイレクトのせいで当時の版まで到達するのが難しく、 後者は Living Standard なので当時の版を特定するのが難しいという。
