[3] CNS 11643 第1字面、第2字面、 Big5、 Big5 ETen、 GCCS、 HKSCS、その他に相当する文字が収録されています。 >>1

[5] GCCS / HKSCS の改訂には追随していますが、 CNS 11643 の追加には追随していないようです。

[6] 数多あった Big5 の拡張も集合として対応しているのは台湾最大手の ETen の拡張と香港政府謹製の GCCS / HKSCS、それに Monotype の拡張と DynaComware の拡張だけの模様。あとは Mac のものも一応対応しているみたい >>9。

[7] CCCII にも対応していないようです。

[10] Adobe-GB1 と比べると随分と少ないのが不思議です。

[11] Adobe-GB1 は拡張を続けて簡体字と繁体字をカバーしているのが大きいのかな?

[13] 縦書き字形については書字方向依存グリフ参照。

CMap

[17] CMap の Unicode には PUA の符号点が含まれています。 >>9 HKSCS の割当に従っています。

[18] 台湾系の Big5 には対応しておらず、ここでも香港が優遇されています。

The PDFs from CJKV Information Processing (First Edition) were made by using an experimental Adobe-CNS2-0 glyph set whose purpose was to simply show all characters in CNS 11643-1992, along with Plane 15.
