[12] WinterCG 設立の議論が始まったのと同時期の令和4(2022)年2月頃、 WHATWG に js-hosts というリポジトリーが作られたのですが、4月から6月の間に削除されて、 今は痕跡も残っていません。 WHATWG WHATWG 側は受け入れ体制を作ろうとしたものの、 Webブラウザー事業者が仕切っている WHATWG とは独立にやりたかったのですかね。
