[DFN[Last Call]] ([DFN[LC]]) は、[[標準化団体]]の仕様策定手続きにおいて、[[編集者]]による仕様案の作成が一段落して最終案と呼べるものが出来上がり、
広く意見を募集することを呼び掛けることをいいます。

「Last」とありますが、実際にはそれに対して寄せられた意見を反映させた結果仕様案が大きく変更され、
再度「Last Call」が実施されることもあります。

[[Last Call]] にあたり提示される[[作業原案]]は [DFN[Last Call Working Draft]] 
([DFN[LCWD]]) と呼ばれます。

[5] [[Last Call]] が終了した仕様案は[[勧告候補]] ([[CR]]) となります。

[6] [[LCWD]] は2014年8月の新 [[Process]] で廃止され、 [[WD]] の次は [[CR]] となりました。

> The Working Group intends for this to be the last Working Draft before it advances to Candidate Recommendation (CR).
