[1] [[RFC]] には誤りが含まれていることがあります。
別の [[RFC]] を新たに発行するのが [[IETF]]
的には正式な訂正方法ですが、 [[RFC編集者]]や各 RFC
の[[著者]]などが正誤表を発行していることもあります。

[2] RFC 編集者の公表している正誤表:

RFC の誤りを RFC 編集者が各 RFC の著者に確認を取って掲載しています。
しかし、著者が確認しているすべての誤りが掲載されているわけではありません。

この一覧には原則的に含めていませんが、
新しい版の RFC や訂正のための RFC によって誤った部分が含まれる
RFC が[[更新]]・[[廃止]]されている場合が非常に多くあります。
既に更新・廃止されている RFC を読む際には注意する必要があります。

[[RFC 1468]] の実態に合わない部分の修正を試みたようですが、

現在は忘れられているようです。

は [[RFC 1468]] の置き換えを企図したものとも思われますが、
一般には無視されています。実態とも必ずしも合致していません。
