[[XHTML]] や [[SVG]] や [[XForms]] のような [[W3C]] の [[XML]]
系[[マーク付け言語]][[語彙]]を組み合わせた[[マーク付け言語]] (による[[文書]])
でした。
[[00年代]]後半に [[W3C]] [[CDF WG]] で開発されましたが、
あまり支持を集められずに終わりました。

[[CDF]] は [[XML]] と [[XML名前空間]]にとっての最後のチャンスだったんですけどね。

これがもう2,3年でも早く実現できていれば、 [[XML]] の運命もちょっとは違っていたかもしれませんね。

でもこれが始まったのは例の2004年のワークショップで、それがきっかけで [[WHATWG]]
が生まれて[[Webブラウザー事業者]]と人心が [[W3C]] から離れていったのだから、
これがもっと早く始まっていたらもっと早く [[W3C]] が没落していたかも?
