[24] [[W3C]] [DFN[[[WebApps WG]]]] は、 [[Web API]] 関連仕様を開発していた
[[W3C]] の [[WD]] でした。
[[Web APIs WG]] と [[WAF WG]] が合併して設立されました。
2015年10月に [[Web Platform WG]] に吸収され閉鎖されました。

[31] 技術的な議論は既にほぼ [[GitHub]] に移行しており、 [[WPWG]]
旧 [[WebApps WG]] の[[メーリングリスト]]はほとんど流量が無くなりました。

[32] それにかわって、旧 [[HTML WG]] と旧 [[WebApps WG]] の[[メーリングリスト]]を維持して話題を分けるとの取り決めは反故にされ、
重要な案件だからという理由で [[W3C]] 版 [[HTML]] の手続きに関する話題が投稿されるようになりました。

[33] 旧 Chair の Art も既に退いており、最早誰もこの流れを止めることができないようです。
