共に [[UTF-8]] の使用が認められるようになりました ([[RFC 5335]] 4.3)。

[2] [[RFC 7240]] は [[RFC 7230]] の [CODE(ABNF)@en[[[word]]]]
を参照していますが、 [[RFC 7230]] には [CODE(ABNF)@en[[[word]]]]
の定義がありません。文脈から [CODE(ABNF)@en[[[token]]]] と
[CODE(ABNF)@en[[[quoted-string]]]] のいずれかの選択を指していると思われます。
