[[RFC 2965]] は [CODE(HTTP)@en[[[Domain]]]] [[属性]]の解釈に際し、[[イントラネット]]の[[ホスト名]]に仮想的な[[ドメイン]] [CODE[.[[local]]]] を付ける仕様を規定しています。
ただし、 [[IESG]] は将来もし [CODE[.[[local]]]] という [[TLD]]
が本当に登録されたら使えなくなる、とコメントしています。
