法律第二十九号(昭二三・四・二八)

◎夏時刻法

第一条 毎年、四月の第一土曜日の午後十二時から九月の第二土曜日の翌日の午前零時までの間は、すべて中央標準時より一時間進めた時刻(夏時刻)を用いるものとする。但し、特に中央標準時によることを定めた場合は、この限りでない。

第二条 四月の第一土曜日の翌日(日曜日)は二十三時間をもつて一日とし、九月の第二土曜日は二十五時間をもつて一日とする。

夏時刻の期間中のその他の日はすべて二十四時間をもつて一日とする。

第三条 この法律の施行に関し、時間の計算に関する他の法律の規定の適用について必要な事項は、政令で、これを定める。

附 則

この法律は、公布の日から、これを施行する。

この法律の適用については、昭和二十三年においては、この法律の第一条及び第二条において「四月の第一土曜日」とあるのは、「五月の第一土曜日(五月一日)」とする。

This twenty-eighth day of the Fourth month of the twenty-third year of Showa (April 28, 1948)

Article 1. Every year, during the period from twelve (12) o'clock p.m. of the first Saturday of April to zero (0) o'clock a.m. of the day following the second Saturday of September, the time ad- vanced by one hour from the central standard time (Summer-time) shall adopted for all purposes, except in case where the central standard time is specifically provided for to be used.

Article 2. Twenty-three (23) hours shall make one day on the day (Sunday) following the first Satur- day of April and twenty-five (25) hours shall make one day on the second Saturday of Septem- ber:

Twenty-four (24) hours shall make one day on all days other than mentioned above during the period of the Summer-time.

Article 3. In enforcing the present Law, matters concerning the calculation of hours necessary for the application of provisions of other Laws shall be provided for by Cabinet Order.

Supplementary Provisions:

The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.

In applying the present Law, “the first Saturday of April” in Art. 1 and Art. 2 of the present Law shall read “the first Saturday of May (1st of May)” in the case of the year of 1948.

◎夏時刻法の一部を改正する法律

夏時刻法(昭和二十三年法律第二十九号)の一部を次のように改正する。

第一条及び第二条第一項中「四月」を「五月」に改める。

附則

この法律は、公布の日から施行する。

This thirty-first day of the third month of the twenty-fifth year of Showa (March 31, 1950)

The Summer-Time Law (Law No. 29 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:

In Article 1 and Article 2 paragraph 1, “April” shall be amended as “May”.

Supplementary Provision:

This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.

◎夏時刻法を廃止する法律

夏時刻法(昭和二十三年法律第二十九号)は、廃止する。

附則

この法律は、公布の日から施行する。
