天下の [[ISO]] が策定した [[ODA]] 仕様に基づくデータの[[媒体型]]です。
[[MIME]] の最初の版, RFC 1341 では初期媒体型として定義されていましたが、
[[OSI]] の敗色が濃厚になって、誰も使わない Application/ODA
媒体型の定義は RFC 1521, RFC 2046 には載っていません。
(ですから、この型の [[IANA]] 登録は未だに [[obsolete]]
な RFC 1341 を参照していて、宙に浮いた状態になっています。)

>The "ODA" subtype of application is used to indicate that  a
body  contains  information  encoded according to the Office
Document  Architecture  [ODA]   standards,  using  the  ODIF
representation  format.   For  application/oda, the 
Content-Type line should also specify an attribute/value  pair  that
indicates  the document application profile (DAP), using the
key word "profile".  Thus an appropriate header field  might
look like this:
